We at Street Week are proud to present Global Batteries as a partner for 2026.
Global Batterieswas already involved as an advertiser in last year's Street Week Magazine, and this year the company has geared up significantly and is now stepping in as a sponsor for the event. We at Street Week are proud to present Global Batteries as a partner for 2026.
This week, Henrik Ludvigsson's awesome Hot Rod is in Global Batterier's booth at the Automotive Fair in Gothenburg. Booth E02:31.
– We are a Swedish company that has been working in the industry since 1986. A trading house in Länna, Stockholm, and an importer specializing in bringing in and selling batteries for Scandinavian weather conditions, says Rickard Lind, who is the product and marketing manager for Global Batteries.
By this, Rickard means that a large number of their batteries have an extra high starting current as extra punch is needed in the batteries to meet Swedish basic requirements due to the fact that it can get cold up here in the north.
Global Batterier imports batteries not only for private cars, motorcycles, and powersport vehicles such as snowmobiles and quad bikes, or riding lawnmowers, but also for heavy traffic such as trucks, fire engines, and construction vehicles.
–Our largest segment is the industrial segment with, for example, lifts and construction machinery, but also advanced solutions for data centers and the telecom segment.
Global Batteriesis on its way to becoming a major player in the Swedish market and is constantly expanding.
–It is not without a certain pride that I can say we actually have the largest charging station in the Nordics with the capacity to charge 3600 batteries per day. So all batteries leave our warehouse fully charged, says Rickard.
Global Batterieshas its store in Länna, where both large buyers and private individuals are welcome, and all of the company's retailers are listed onthe company's website
