Finish Street Week 2024
We are all winners, participants, the audience, team members, and drivers who are involved in every way in Street Week. And in what way you make this event, I cannot describe in words how it feels.
Start from Laxå to be at the checkpoint in Askersund by 11 AM and arrive at Mantorp Park between 12 PM but absolutely no later than 3 PM. About 10+ miles to drive, many felt, you do this in your sleep. But for example, Hannu Hellman Hellray Racing was about to end the competition on these miles.
The engine started to growl, but as he revs it, he and his wifeSari they pulled it out and changed the connecting rod bearings and some lifters, at a little rest area along the road. This couple shows Finnish sisu and will reach the finish line with the car, there is only one word for such achievements and that is respect! Just this is what many of you do, you don't give up until it's impossible to continue, hats off to all of you!
After the finish, the banquet and award ceremony for Street Week 2024 awaited, and what an enormous prize table was set up!
Like all fairy tales, there is a winner and this year it was Johan Gehrke year, hats off for your and Niklas Nisse Ahlgren achievement, it is no easy match to win Street Week, you should know, but you did it with bravado!
