Raceday 4 – Söderhamn Airport

Three previous 'fully prepared' tracks will now become a track that has never been driven, what a challenge..!

As soon as you arrive at the track, you notice that the staff in Söderhamn have been around for a long time and are professionals to the fingertips. A fantastic large facility is available.

Since, as mentioned, we have never driven on that part of the facility we were at, there was a certain tense excitement among the drivers. Some perhaps a bit more tense than Nygren and Gherke who mostly stood and smiled, while their opponents sweated in the cold..

There was racing, but no four which I am still convinced would have happened if the rain hadn't come. I saw Wikman with his naughty Malibu standing and praying to the sun gods to be able to flex the Chevy muscles for 3 hours in the lineup, but what energy, stop dripping, go polish the car, warm it up only for it to start dripping again, shook his fist at the rain clouds and jumped into the car. Only to do the same procedure again 15 minutes later, for 3 hours, respect! And many others did the same. Street Week can solve a lot, but we can't control the weather.

Today is a rest day for me, hopefully for you others as well. I will 'only' take myself 400 kilometers down the country.
