This year's third track: Sundsvall Raceway!

Two years ago, Street Week took place at SHRA Sundsvall's facility in Medelpad/Västernorrland County, and this year it's time to revisit the beloved track. The advantage of Sundsvall Raceway is that the facility is owned by SHRA Sundsvall, so the club has access to the track around the clock, all year round.

– We are probably one of two clubs in the whole world that not only rents a track but owns it, says Göran Svensson at SHRA Sundsvall. The facility has a 500-meter stable stone wall on each side of the strip and grandstands for 1500 people.

The track will be fully prepped and ready since the club is hosting its own drag race, Mid Sweden Nats, so as long as the weather is on our side, fast cars can set record times on the track.

Last time Street Week ran on the track, more than half of the starting field ran Max Outlaw four-second passes. That usually serves as a pretty good indicator that there is grip in the asphalt.
