Ida Zetterström is ready for NHRA

Since she was eight, she has been racing drag, and the dream of the highest league in the United States has existed, and all the hard work seems to have paid off. Recently handpicked for the JCM racing team in NHRA, she will be competing to bring home the championship title.

For those of you who are not quite familiar with what this is, it can be briefly summarized as the largest, coolest, and most prestigious league for Top-Fuel dragsters, which are the most powerful machines that can operate on a dragstrip.

Ida Zetterström set a speed record during the summer of 2023 with a top speed of 516 km/h and an incredible time of 3.77 seconds over 1000 ft. In September, the European Championship in the Top Fuel class was decided, and Zetterström emerged as the winner with a time of 3.91 seconds over a distance of 304.8 meters and just over 437 km/h in speed.

For those with a keen eye, you surely saw Ida at Street Week. She was actually the co-driver for her boyfriend Kim Hilander.She was not only a co-driver but also helped with her expertise and held a briefing in English for the international participants.
